It looks great on you. I can imagine it layered over a long sleeved top too, if that's your thing. 12 cm is a lot to add - assuming you were getting the row gauge specified in the pattern. I do find it nice how Ravelry allows us to avoid some of these pitfalls (or quirks) in published patterns.

oh gosh that's very pretty. you matched yarn and pattern really well. 12cm does seem like a lot - I mean, you're not a really short person, and I imagine tall people do have to add a bit (although as a short person I often find I need to as well) but still, that's a reasoable frustration.

It's a lovely looking top. I also tend to look at longer lengths in tops because despite a height of 5'6" I have a long torso and arms so everything needs adjusting. Yours looks like a nice fit with the skirt and I understand the comment about the trousers.

It looks lovely - I know what you mean about length. I'm not tall, but often find patterns are too short for me.

Emma, that is really, really nice. Beautiful in fact. But 12 cm added? That's near ridiculous! maybe the designer's "fit model" had no boobage, a short torso and was only 5 foot nothing?

Having said that, the top doesn't look too short at all. It looks comfortable as well as classy. Wear it with pride!
