I love Christmas treats too. This time of year I usually make things like almond bread, spiced cookies, shortbread, gingerbread, and lots of mango, stonefruit and melon salads. I also love panettone, panforte and rum balls but haven't branched out into making my own yet! Ooh now I'm hungry... Oh coconut ice, sweet pleasure of bygone days… why don’t we eat this anymore??

I love Christmas treats too. This time of year I usually make things like almond bread, spiced cookies, shortbread, gingerbread, and lots of mango, stonefruit and melon salads. I also love panettone, panforte and rum balls but haven’t branched out into making my own yet!

I haven't had coconut ice in years! The only recipes I keep to Christmas are my fruit cake, and my mum's rumballs and apricot balls. My best friend and I exchanged Christmas traditional food this weekend past - I gave her one of my fruit cakes, and she gave me a massive container of her almond bread.
